Welcome to Nimby’s Page

For people who don’t know this page is about my lovable companion, a guinea pig called Nimbus. Nimbus was born in March of 1993, (I think) in a cage with his mother and 2 sisters. Nimbus is an interesting animal; he is the mutant everyone loves. His breed is part Teddy, part Abbie, part American and finally part Silkie. The pictures will show that he is a white haired, black and pink spotted-skinned guinea pig. Inbreeding mainly causes this variation in his skin. During the springs and summers, Nimby will have an allergic reaction to something, and chew all of his hair on the back of his body.

When his hair grew back, I showed him at the county fair as a miscellaneous breed. Unfortunately, he died in October of 1998, of old guinea pig age. Sometimes, I really miss my little eepper pig buddy.
